SUPREME COURT-CRIMINAL SIDE.MONDAY, MAY 4. James Barrett stood indicted for feloniously and maliciously setting fire to a barn, the property of William Dunn, at William's River, on the 1st February last. Not Guilty. Sydney Herald, 7 May 1835.

Carter aged 20 from Cork. Dark sallow complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, crucifix, sun, moon, stars, and another large mark in shape of a heart on right arm. Absconded from William Dun 16th September 1834. 111445 Barrett James - Norfolk 1832. 1835 6 March Newcastle gaol NGE. Tailor from Cork. Admitted to Newcastle gaol from Paterson. For trial at the Supreme Court for arson. Sent to Sydney gaol 11 March
