Occupation listed as Constable on birth certificates for Jane (23 Jan 1836), Daniel (7 Jan 1838), & John (29 Feb 1840) all born in Longford Tasmania. Different occupations listed (Tallow Chandler & Licencsed Haker respectively) on birth records for Willam (16 Jul 1842) & Thomas (9 Dec 1843)

DIED- At Longford, on Tuesday, 3rd instant, after a very short illness, Mr. John Barrett, aged 42, leaving a widow and five children to lament their loss. Launceston Advertiser, 13 Dec 1844. DEATHS. BARRETT. — At Longford, on the 23rd January, Mrs Hannah Barrett, aged 66 years. [Melbourne, Adelaide, and New Zealand papers please copy.] The Cornwall Chronicle, 25 Jan 1875. The funeral of the late Mrs Hannah Barrett will leave her late residence, Longford, at half-past 1 o'clock on Monday afternoon 25th instant. Thomas Humphreys, Undertaker. W & 2 children at N.P. Flaresby. Hannah. I worked last for Mr Oats a linen manufacturer at N.P. M, 2 ch. Con. Pardon No 1702, 11 June 1838. Free Pardon No 90. 19 July 1843.
