Mary Barrett (1st on ship) was convicted at Cork City 20/11/1840 for Larceny - wearing apparrel. 7 yr Transportation sentence. Transported on the 'Mexborough' departing Dublin 12/08/1841, arriving Van Diemens Land 26/12/1841. Surgeon's Report: Well behaved. Single; age 27yrs; Native Place: Cork. 5'4"; fresh complexion; dk brown hair; blue eyes. Farm servant. 12/04/1844: 3rd Class 28/06/1844: Ticket of Leave 09/1844: Application to marry Michael Yeoman (convict per 'Jupiter', now free). 07/10/1844: Marriage to Michael Yeoman, St. Joseph's Church, Hobart. 20/11/1847: Free by Servitude. 20/12/1847: Free Certificate.
