Cornwall Chronicle, 7 Oct 1843. In accordance with the Act or Council 6th Victoria, No. 18, I hereby give notice that His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor has been pleased to approve of the solemnization of matrimony between the undermentioned parties: Frederick Sharman, free, and Mary Barrett, per Mexboro', in assigned service. Launceston.
Mary Barrett (2 Mary Barrett's on this voyage) was 20 years old on arrival and was transported for 'stealing money'. Mary was single, fresh complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, native place was Waterford, Ireland. 11/3/1845: TOL 8/9/1846: Recommended for a CP 23/11/1847: CP approved. 15/3/1848: free by servitude 5/4/1849: Certificate of freedom. 17/10/1843: Married Frederick Sharman (Mary 1839) they had 4 children, Triphena 1844, Frank 1846, Catherine 1847, George 1849. 1900: Mary died.
