Enoch Bradley, 32, Mark Barrington, 22, John Barrington, 31, and Samuel Hayes, 32, were found guilty of stealing a quantity of silk at Macclesfield, the property of Joseph and John Davenport, and were sentenced to be transported, Enoch Bradley and Samuel Hayes for life, and Mark Barrington and John for seven years. Chester Chronicle, 15 Aug 1834.
