Ann's first husband Thomas alias John Green was sentenced to 15 years transportation on the Theresa to VDL in 1845. She was sentenced to 7 years transportation for stealing lace and using base coin with partner George Barrow whom she had a child with. Her 2 daughters Ann & Matilda, to Thomas Green accompanied her on the Elizabeth and Henry in 1848 and they were placed into Queen's Orphanage under the surnames of Barrow.
