James Barry was charged with stealing 4£. the properly of Wm. Quirk, at Midleton on the 14ih February. The prisoner was detected in the act of picking the prosecutor’s pocket of the money at a fair—Guilty, 7 years transportation. Cork Constitution, 5 April 1827.
