Convict Notes

From our Correspondent.) The Late Lawrence Barry.— As I am still blamed for calling the late Lawrence Barry " Mickey Sligo," I take this opportunity of again denying it. I hope this denial will be sufficient, as I always considered Mr. Barry a very honest, upright, and intelligent man. I had no object in inventing the nickname, therefore I consider I am free from blame. The mistake occurred in this office. Yass Courier, 17 Nov 1891.
