Elizabeth Bartle, 16 yrs, single, can read, a servant, convicted of stealing money from her master, sentenced to 7 yrs at Cambridge on the 14 Feb 1848. Not before convicted. Prison Registers and Statistical Returns - page 183 1843-1850 HO 24/12
