Charlotte Harris, and John Bartlett, charged with having feloniously robbed and taken from the person of Rt. Gammon, in St. Clement’s, a 10£. and a 1£. note, and several shillings ; and the said John Bartlett stands charged with receiving the property, knowing it to have been stolen. Oxford University and City Herald, 25 Feb 1826. Charlotte Harris, and John Bartlett, charged with having feloniously robbed and taken from the person of Rt . Gammon, in St. Clement’s, 101. and 11. note, and several shillings; and the said John Bartlett stands charged with receiving the said property, knowing it to have been stolen —Harris, no bill —Bartlett, to be transported for  life. Oxford University and City Herald, 4 March 1826. Thursday Wm. Blackall, Rd. Pittaway, Joseph P…. Joseph Jones, John Bartlett, and James Margetts, were removed from our county gaol to the hulks at Woolwich, preparatory to their being sent to Botany Bay, pursuant to their sentences at our last Assizes. Oxford University and City Herald, 25 March 1826.

Marriage Place: New South Wales. Registration Place: Hoxham, Newcastle, New South Wales Registration Year: 1832. Volume Number: V 1832 - 15 Dec. Ticket of Leave. 32/111. General Remarks; Govt. Order 1 Jan 1827. also for apprehending and bring to conviction several prisoners guilty of Burgulary and robbery. Allowed to remain in the Upper District of the Hunters River. Noted across the ticket; Cancelled having been convicted at Maitland Q. S. on the 30 Aug 1842. Fire arms in procession and sentenced to transportation for Life.
