Family connections for Richard (Barton) are: BARTON Richard (Barton) was tried at Kent Quarter Sessions, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 2 1792 after a voyage of 8months on PITT; much fever & attempts to escape from the ship resulted in deaths of convicts-of the 450convicts on board only 29 were alive at muster in May 1792 (or perhaps only this many could be mustered). He was Free by Servitude by 1810. He married Sarah (Hosborne) emancipist on 16 4 1812 at St Phillips CofE Sydney.
