William Bastock was 22 years old, 5' 1/2" tall, single, sallow complexion, brown hair, brown eyebrows, hazel eyes, mouth - large always open and a square chin. 2/7/1838: Clharged with stealing on the 30th of June last, 1 pair trousers, value 12s then braces, value 7/6d the goods of Isaac T?? - Hard labour in chains 18 months. 2/8/1838: Absconded - 6 months hard labour in chains. 25/11/1845 TOL 11/3/1853: Steerage passenger from Launceston to Melbourne on the 'Clarence'.
