Transp. 15 Nov 1821. ----------------------------------------------------- Tasmanian Records. Conduct Record: https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-1$init=CON31-1-1P221 489. James Bates. Transported for Stealing. Gaol report, Convicted before and several times imprisoned. Hulk report: Behaved exceedingly well. Stated this offence: Stealing 10 lb of cheese, convicted once for stealing hats from a shop, Six months in Manchester for M not stated. See record for details. Last entry on record: Jan 18 1833. F.S.
