Family connections for David (Batty) are: BATTY David (Batty) was born in 1762. He was tried at Westminster Sessions for Peace on 5 7 1787, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship ALBERMARLE. He seems to have associated with Mary (Turner her second relationship), but not clear if he was father of her child here. He was Free by Servitude by 1800. He was issued his Pardon in 1803. He was recorded in 1816 in Sydney. He died on 13 12 1818 age56 & was buried at Old Sydney Burial Ground St Phillips CofE on 3 12 1818. [Some details taken from this Website] Mary (Wilks) was born about 1766 & became a servant. She was tried as Mary (Turner) for theft of a handkerchief at Worcester Assizes on 5 3 1785, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 22 1 1788 after a voyage of 12months on First Fleet ship LADY PENRHYN.
