1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE OLD BAILEY Born 1812. Place of birth London (Marylebone). Gender male. Occupation Gentleman's servant. HISCO 9. Hair brown. Eyes grey. Distinguishing marks woman f heart c on right arm. man woman wreath love on left arm. cross on left thumb.. JOHN BAXTER. ROBERT STEWART. Theft; simple larceny (from 1827). 4th September 1834. Before Mr. Sergeant Arabin. 1417. JOHN BAXTER and ROBERT STEWART were indicted for stealing, on the 4th of July , 96 yards of Moreen, value 4l. 16s. , the goods of Stephen Fawcett ............... Baxter's Defence. I was merely passing when this man was taken - I never saw him before. Stewart's Defence. I was passing the green, and a man asked me to carry these. BAXTER - GUILTY . Aged 22. STEWART - GUILTY . Aged 18. Transported for Seven Years .
