Monday morning last the following convicts were conveyed from the City Gaol on their way to City Gaol on their way to Portsmouth, pursuant to their respective sentences of transportation, viz Wm. Dade, John Townson, Wm. Batson, Robert Bell, Joseph Baxter, and W. Rudd, for life; Steph. Norman, John David Gooch, and John Taylor, for fourteen years. Norfolk Chronicle, 19 Sep 1829.
