Born in Potter Heigham, Norfolk. Widow of Robert Bayes, shoemaker 1775-1812. Convicted on 2.10.1812 at The Old Bailey. Original sentence was death. Died in Sydney, buried 28.6.1826 in the parish of St.Philips. Bridget was a nurse in the first Hospital to be built in Sydney. May have married S.Harris Brangelly (common-law).
