NEW SOUTH WALES. RETURN OF ALL MALE CONVICTS ASSIGNED BETWEEN THE 1st AND 28th FEBRUARY, 1833.  Beughan James, Roslyn Castle, farm laborer, to George M‘Kenzie, Hunter’s River. NSW Govt. Gazette, 3 April 1833. FIFTY POUNDS REWARD. Whereas it has been reported to the Government, that on the 9th instant, a party oi Aboriginal Natives attacked and plundered an out-station of the Australian Agricultural Company, in the county of Gloucester, ill used the overseer, and slaughtered and ate a sheep ;— and it is further reported that the station of Mr. Mackenzie was subsequently attacked, the sheep driven away, five men murdered, and the huts burnt, by a similar party:— Notice is hereby given that a reward of Ten Pounds will be paid to any person that shall apprehend and lodge in any of His Majesty's gaols, either of the undermentioned offenders, who have been identified as concerned in these outrages, viz. : — Kotera Jockey — had on a white linen shirt, marked W R No.6. Cromie, right hand turned back. Gregory. Mscarty. Paddy, — commonly called cobawn Paddy. By His Excellency's Command, ALEXANDER M'LEAY. The Australian, 29 May 1835.
QUEEN’S COUNTY ASSIZES, (From the Dublin Times.) The following is an official and correct list of the convictions and sentences at the Maryborough Summer Assizes which have just terminated :— ... Michael M‘Evor, and James Behan, assaulting habitation. To be transported for life. … Enniskillen Chronicle, 9 Aug 1832.
