Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Lord Lyndoch', arriving 05/02/1841. 1 year Probation - on a road gang. Single man; soldier/ploughman/farm labourer; Protestant (Church of England); can read & write; aged 23yrs; 5'9"; florid complexion; lt brown hair; lt blue eyes; lost 4th finger on left hand; large nose. Native Place of birth: nr Haddor, Northamptonshire, England. Father: Richard, at native place Brothers: Thomas & John Sisters: Sarah, Ann & Mary
