Convict Notes
Edward Beamond was 40 years old when convicted, along with Solomon Levine, aged 52 (also on board) for receiving 6000 yards of calico, value £120 and 18 yards of canvas, value £1., the goods of Alexander Forbes and others, wellknowing the goods to have been stolen. Edward's occupation was a "Packer/Farm Labourer". Edward was 5'9 3/4" tall, fresh complexion, black hair, grey eyes, could read and write. 1829: Married Harriet Hannah Jackson in London. They had 5 children. 7/8/1849: TOL 30/3/1853: CP C1850: Edward made application to bring out his family and they arrived around 1850. They then moved to Victoria. 1868: Edward died at Craigie, Victoria. 1876: Harriet died at McCullam's Creek, Victoria.
