Originally sent to Norfolk Island, arrived 16 May 1846. Transferred to Cascades Probation Station, 21 May 1847. Employed, 1 Sep 1849 by Doctor(later Sir)James Willson Agnew, House Surgeon, at Her Majesty’s General Hospital, Hobart as a carpenter. Granted Ticket of Leave, 25 October 1853. Married Mary Ann Jane Warrant, 9 Jan 1854. Granted Unconditional Pardon, 14 Aug 1855. Served as Police Constable 1865-1870
