Worcester Journal Worcestershire, England 21 Jul 1831: WORCESTER SUMMER ASSIZES John Beecham, 22, for stgealing, at Evenload, from the person of Arkell Hunt, two ten pound notes of the Old Banbury Bank, and nine sovereigns;—and Henry Beesley, 20, for receiving one of the notes and five sovereigns, knowing them to have been stolen.— Transported for life. Beesley had been twice convicted before. Henry Beesley was listed as 20 years old on arrival. Transported for 'Receiving stolen money'. Native Place: Gloucestershire. Occupation: Labourer/groom. Henry was literate, Protestant, single, 4'10" tall, ruddy freckled complexion, light brown hair, blue eyes, large scar on top of forehead in centre. 1832: Return of Convicts of the Asia 1832: Henry Beesley - Labourer and groom.
