John BELL married Ann GEE on 14 February 1831 in Hobart Town, Van Diemen's Land. He passed away in May 1883 in Castlemaine, Colony of Victoria (BDM VIC 4482 / 1883)

Prison Transfer on 8 May 1822 to Woolwich Kent England. He was transferred from a Northern Prison to the Hulk Ship Justitia ready for transportation to Van Diemans Land

Lent session 22 March 1822 Highway Robbery - Along with William Keeling (alias Waine) and John Brown (alias Robert Smart), for felonious behavior - Assaulting William Marsh on the Kings Highway, stealing from him one pocket-book containing 2 1/2 crowns and 4 Shillings. All sentenced to death but changed to life at Tasmania.
