Convicted under alias George Bellingham (who is his brother and later came to Australia as a Bounty Migrant). Initially convicted of larceny and housebreaking in 1832 and was initially convicted to death but later life. Was later convicted to death in Sydney for Robbery but this was converted to 14 yrs in irons and sent to Norfolk Island. Museums of History New South Wales list George as being an alias of Francis and being given conditional pardon in 1850
