Henry Bellingham was 23 years old on arrival in VDL and was transported for "stealing a clock". Henry was 5'1" tall, dark brown hair, dark complexion, native place was London. He was married, wife was Emma Goswell Street. 1835 Muster: Public Works 10/8/1840: TOL 4/8/1842: CP 25/10/47: Free Certificate. 1856: Married Caroline Patterson at Hobart, they had 1 female child.




A New Testament published in 1833 is inscribed "To Henry Bellingham from Dr Browning for his superior good conduct and good reading while on board the Arab. May 31st 1834". This bible is currently at Foxhunters Return, Campbell Town, Tasmania.
