Thomas Belton was 40 years old on arrival, he was transported with 'Receiving a stolen silver watch, value £4, the property of James Hammond, knowing it to have been stolen. The watch was stolen by William Marchant, 37. - Belton, ten years’ transportation; Marchant, twelve months’ hard labour. There were two other indictments against Bolton, which were not proceeded with. Thomas was 5' 10 1/2" tall, light brown hair, hazel eyes, long face, sallow complexion, slight build, burn on left arm. Married with 3 children. Ticket Leave Date: 5 Apr 1854 Conditional Pardon Date: 24 Dec 1855 Comments: To South Australia per Ebland, Jun 1852.
