1832: On arrival in VDL, he was listed as a labourer, aged 20. From the records of other men sent on board the KS Forbes for the same crime, they were convicted for demolishing the house of William Cross in Queen Square, Bristol. 1841, 7 October: He was granted a Ticket of Leave 1845, 26 August: His Conditional Pardon was approved (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON34-1-3$init=CON34-1-3P437).


CRIME: Riotously destroying a house - convicted along with 11 others of this offence. All were sentenced to transportation for life. All were admitted to the prison hulk Justitia at Woolwich on 25 January 1832. He was sent on 10 February for transportation. Thomas Evans BENDALL was 19, born 1812, according to the hulk record (see UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849).
