C.E. read and write a little. Transported for Stealing from the person. Parkhurst prison report, 4 times convicted of felony. Very bad. Has been guilty of gross violence to officers, ever ready to join in riot & disorder. Single. Stated this offence, Stg money from the person, about 2 or 3 £, pr in Nottingham, for picking pockets, 3 mos. Surgeon’s Report, Bad. Age on arrival, 19. Labourer, native place, Nottingham. His probation period of 2 years was spent on Norfolk Island. See record for full details.
