Elizabeth had another 150 female convicts join her on the ship "Ëdward", sailing from Woolich. UK. actually on 5th May 1834,arriving at VDL 4th Sep. 1834, 4 months from departure. Ship's master: E.A.Lindsay. Surgeon: Jos Steret. She married her convict husband Joseph Rainbow 7th May 1840 in Tasmania..

Elizabeth Bennett was 18 years old when indicted for receiving 2 chairs, value 4s., knowing them to be stolen. Elizabeth was born in Cork Ire., and from the Old Bailey proceedings, it seems she lived by her wits and mostly on the streets. She had prior convictions such as stealing from a child etc. Goal lReport: Violent, needs restraint, imprisoned before. Elizabeth had blue eyes, dark brown hair, was 5'3" tall, and single. 1835: House of Correction. 28/7/1842: CP 1840: Married Joseph Rainbow. They had 9 children and lived in the Fingal area.
