Trial 3 Nov 1843 for assaulting an old man with a stone Family: mother Mary; brother James; sister Ellen; 1 step brother, & 1 step sister at Croome, Co Limerick Trade: shoemaker (trade skills: can cut out) Desc: single, literate, RC, 5'4.25" tall Convict Labour Contract 18 Jun 1849 (6 months) - John Britton, Liverpool St In VDL he was convicted of stealing leather, assault of a fellow prisoner, being AWOL & disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to terms in solitary confinement & hard labour. Certificate of Freedom 18 Mar 1850 Married 29 Nov 1856 - Honora Donahoe, & had x2 children in Hobart (children born 7 Nov 1855 & 13 Mar 1858) Residences: Hobart, O'Brien's Bridge TAS Died 22 Oct 1887 of stricture, retention at the General Hospital, Hobart
