Single woman; aged 22yrs; housemaid; 5'4" height; fair complexion; dk brown hair; grey eyes. Native place of birth: Linlithgow Colony of VDL: Assisgned to work services 14 Aug 1838: Mr. Watson - neglect of duty. 3 days in cells on bread & water. APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO MARRY: 12 Dec 1838 - Mary BENTLEY (per Atwick) to William PEELER (per Woodford) MARRIAGE: 14 May 1839 - Mary BENTLEY, convict per Atwick, aged 23 yrs to William PEELER, Ticket of Leave status, per Woodford, aged 29 yrs - at St. David's Church of England, Hobart.
