Arrived Sydney 23Jan 1822. Assigned to W’m Lawson, Commandant of Bathurst. Tickets of Leave 29 Jul 1824-8 Mar1827/31 Mar 1827 20 Aug1867. Provisional Pardon1840. In 1846at CofE Kelso NSW,Married Mary Doyle (daughter of Ellen & Private Patrick Doyle decd 1831 57th Regiment). 1850 purchased 30 acres crown land at Upper Meroo, Gulgong/Mudgee, Shire of WellingtonNSW. Mary Doyle Best born in 1828 in Sydney died in June 1910 They had 1 daughter Henrietta and 3 sons - Thomas Sylvester, William and George Henry. All married landowners. I am ggg grandaughter through Thomas Sylvester line.
