At Warwick Assizes, the seven following Prisoners were capitally convicted, and received Sentence of Death, viz.... William Biggs, aged 19, and Thomas Ward, aged 16, for breaking into the Pantry of William Moore, in Birmingham, and stealing some Pewter Dishes, Plates; ... Northampton Mercury, 18 April 1789.

William Biggs and Mary Jennings don't seem to have a marriage record, but after William died she married a Nicholas Lewis. He was 28 and she was 49. On the marriage certificate she is stated as being 'single'.

William Biggs, associated with Mary Jennings [Surprize (2)]arrived in 1791 Admiral Barrington. They made a home together at 11 Back Row East (until the street name was changed to Phillip Street) where they had 8 children, 2 of whom died at or near birth.

William married Mary Ann Jennings who was transported on the Surprize in 1794. They married in 1803.They are my wife's Maternal great great grandparents.
