Coroner, Berkeley Name: James Billings, Occupation: Wood Turner, Age: 23 yrs 4th October 1864 Charges: Feloniously shooting and discharging a certain pistol, loaded with gunpowder and leaden shot, at and against Elizabeth Trow, with intent to kill and murder her, at Painswick on the 3rd October 1864, also feloniously wounding one Job Barnfield with a knife, with intent to resist lawful apprehension pf him the said James Billings, at Painswick, o the 3rd October 1864.
