TOWN-HALL. —Tuesday. Robberies Dwelling houses. —Joseph Bingham and William Winney, were committed to take their trials at the Sessions, on the charge of entering two houses in the Park, during the temporary absence of the owners, and carrying off much wearing apparel, linen, &c. as they conveniently could. Sheffield Independent, 7 Jan 1832. West Riding Christmas Sessions. Joseph Bingham was charged with stealing, on the 31st of December, at Sheffield, quantity of wearing apparel, the property of Benjamin Glaves.- Guilty. He was sentenced to fourteen years’ transportation. Sheffield Independent,14 Jan 1832.
