And on Thursday, Wm. Birch, late of Ashley, near Altrincham, in this county, was committed the same gaol, charged with stealing fat pigs, the property of Wm. Birken, of High Legh, farmer. He was apprehended, at Goostry, with one of the pigs in his possession. Chester Courant, 13 March 1810. Wm. Birch, aged 46, a farmer, from Ashley, for stealing two pigs, the property of Wm. Birkin, of High  Chester Courant, 17 April 1810  William Birch, 46, from Ashley, for stealing two pigs, the property of William Birkin, of High Leigh, Death.
