1828 Census Index. Mary Birchley, G.S. Harmony, 1827, 7 years, protestant, servant, Mr Raymond Princes St., Sydney.
Removal of Convicts. —On Thursday the following female convicts were removed from the County and City Gaols to Woolwich, where they will be placed on board the Harmony transport: viz. Sarah Mills, aged 37, and Mary Ann Birchley, aged 23, sentenced at the last Michaelmas County Sessions to seven years transportation, the former for embezzling monies the property of E. W. Oldaker, Esq. of Pershore; and the latter for stealing a watch from the person of J. Burrow at Dudley; and Sarah Bodenham, sentenced to the like punishment at the same Sessions for the City, for robbing her master Mr. Waller, of the Corn-market. Worcester Journal, 3 May 1827.
