Native Place - Birmingham, registered as aged 24 at time of conviction, year of birth about 1806. Ticket of Leave granted 22 July 1839. Granted Permission to marry on the 13th February 1840, married Elizabeth Laurty/Laverty on the 25th February 1840 at Hexham, Newcastle. They had one son, William Birkin. Died at Dungong, NSW, in September 1841.
