William Shipley, aged 41, and Thomas Bishop, I, were indicted for stealing fowls, the property of Thomas Barton and Andrew Ralphs, from their premises, in the parish of Battntt. The prisoners were found guilty upon both and it appeared evidence that Bishop had been before convicted and punished for a felony, he was sentenced by Court as an incorrigible offender, to transported beyond the seas, for the term of fourteen years; and his accomplice Shipley, who was not equally notorious, for seven.
