Put on sick list, 13 April 1844. Discharged, 4 May 1844. Tasmanian Conduct Record: https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON41-1-2$init=CON41-1-2p11 682. Catherine Black, tried at Tyrone, 31 Oct 1843, sentence 7 years. Roman catholice. Transported for larceny. Gaol report good. Widow. Stated this offence: Stealing a pair of stays and stuff petticoat in Tyrone. Farm servant. Native of Donegal, age 45. ticket of Leave 12/12/1848. Free Cert. 11/11/1850. Inquest held on body at Hobart Town, 4 August 1874. Verdict- Died from natural causes. (Apoplexy).
