NORWICH. Monday the assizes began here, for this city and county of Norfolk, when ... James Blagbourn for robbing the dwelling house of Mrs. Frances Mountain in St. Andrew's in this city;... were capitally convicted. Ipswich Journal, 4 Aug 1787. --------------------------------------------------- The following prisoners were capitally convicted. James Blagbourn, for robbing Frances Mountain, John Crome, for highway robbery, and Daniel Gardiner, for felony. After the judge left town, Crome is left for execution. Norfolk Chronicle, 4 Aug 1787.
