Lindsey Sessions. … and Joseph Bland, late of Belleau, laborer, convicted of stealing a man coat, a woman's great coat, a cotton handkerchief, a pair of cotton braces, and a pair of cord breeches from Daniel Paddison, of the same place, laborer— were sentenced to be transported for seven years. Stamford Mercury, 2 Nov 1821.

Town, 18 Aug 1830, Receiving stolen property, 3 years. To Sydney 16 Aug 1833. Description: Joseph Bland, Native of Norfolk, age 39, 5 ft 4 ¾. Fair comp, brown hair, hazel eyes. Religion P. ---------------------------------------------------- Campbell Town Assizes We have been favoured with the following complete list of the prisoners tried before the Honourable the CHIEF JUSTICE, at the adjourned Sessions of the Supreme Court, held at Campbell Town. TUESDAY, 17th. Joseph Bland, Josiah Bent, and Henry Bent, were indicted for stealing, at Bathurst Plains, on 22d March last, five bushels of wheat, and forty pounds of cheese, the property of Thomas Fitzherbert Hawkins, Esq. and one steel mill, the property of James Brindley Bettington, Esq. Joseph Bland and Josiah Bent, Guilty, and Henry Bent, Not Guilty. Joseph Bland to be transported for three years ; Joseph Bent to work on the roads in irons for three years.
