Leicester Journal Leicestershire, England 21 Oct 1831 LEICESTER AND LEICESTERSHIRE BOROUGH SESSIONS. Thomas Bland, 27, charged with stealing a pocket handkerchief from the person of William Garner, of Leicester. Thomas Bland was listed as 28 years old on arrival. Native Place: Leicester. Thomas was literate, Protestant, single, 5'0½" tall, dark complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, nose thick, mouth a little inclining to left side, small mole back of lower right arm, small scar on left thumb, small scar on right side of forehead. 1832: NSW Return of all Male Convicts Assigned and Transferred ... Bland Thomas, Clyde, bricklayer, to William Rothery, Home Bush. 26/2/1840: COF - 34, born 1806.
