Squire Blazely is the nephew of Reuben Blazely who was transported in 1834 on the John Barry to VDL. Squire was transported for stealing 4lbs. of lead from Vickris Pryor at Baldock, aged 20. Priors: 3 months & flogging for stealing fowls. 2 months for breaking fences. He was also flogged on the Hulk for misconduct. Squire was 5'3" tall, protestanc, coud read, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, 2 moles on left arm, 3 moles on right arm, small scar on right cheek, scar on 3rd finger left hand and scar on right thumb, single. 8/9/1846: TOL 24/8/1848: TOL Westbury 1/3/1850: Free certificate 4/6/1852: Steerage passenger 'Vixen' Launceston to Melbourne (free by servitude) 28/10/1852: Steerage passenger 'Waratah' Launceston to Melbourne (free).
