T Blenkinsop, James and Richard Bird, charged having, on the 1st May, feloniously stolen a shilling income the property of E. Hunter ; Blenkinsop, 7 years, Blakey 6 months hard labour, and to occasionally whipped, Bird, one month in gaol. Durham County Advertiser, 12 Aug 1820.




On Friday the 5th inst. Robert Blenkinsop, James Blakey, and Richard Bird, three boys, part of a gang …. this town, were committed to gaol for trial at the next assizes, on a charge of having stolen ?s in copper from the shop of Edward Hunter; Newcastle Courant, 20 May 1820.
