John Blomley mistakenly recorded as Blumley in the burial register - was tried at Manchester on the 20 Jul 1814 and sentenced to 14 years transportation. John was described as a weaver, 5’9½” tall, sallow complexion, bald/grey hair and hazel eyes. He arrived on the “Indefatigable” 25 APR 1815 and was sent to Parramatta for distribution. John was killed by natives at Appin in May 1816 - he is buried in Liverpools' earliest burial ground now Apex Park
