PUBLIC NOTICE. - I do hereby Caution all Persons from Purchasing or Lending on Mortgage any Sum or Sums of Money on the Premises of Stafford Lett, Deceased, being the Property of his children, situated in Cambridge-street, Rocks, well known by the Sign of the Punch Bowl, and three other Houses adjacent, likewise one House in Cockle-bay, I being one Executor for his Children. https://www.oldbaileyonline.org/print.jsp?div=t18030706-38 Sophia Blundell and Charlotte Wood were indicted on 6 July 1803, at the Old Bailey, with breaking and entering on the 21st June, and stealing several handkerchiefs and other items of wearing apparel, the property of Alexander Anderson. Both were found guilty and sentenced to Death. Sophia Blundell was aged 20 and Charlotte Wood was 18.

FOR the Information of Travellers and the Public at large, and for the particular Guidance of the Officers of the Police Establishment, HIS EXCELLENCY the GOVERNOR has been pleased to order and direct that the following List of Publicans, who are duly licensed for Keeping of Public Houses, and Vending of Wines, Spirits, and Beer, and of those Persons licensed to brew Beer within the several Towns and Districts of Sydney, Parramatta, Windsor, Liverpool, and Castlereagh, for the present year, shall be published in the Sydney Gazette; viz. Sophia married Stafford Lett (Convict, 1799, "Hillsborough"). They married in 1807 at St Phillips, Sydney. The couple had at least 5 children: Martha, Elizabeth, William, Sophia and Stafford. Stafford (snr) died in 1817 and Sophia married again, in 1818 to one George Cribb. This relationship did not last and the couple separated in 1823. Sydney Gazette Thu 13 Mar 1823 p.3 NOTICE. - The Public are hereby cautioned not to Credit my Wife, Sophia Cribb, on my Account, as I will not be responsible for any Debts she may contract after this Notice, having eloped from her home, &c. without any provocation whatsoever; I do hereby further caution all Tenants, who hold Houses from me, not to pay any Rents to her from this date, otherwise I will compel them to pay the same over again.
