Harriet Blyth, 23 yrs, single, a labourer, convicted of stealing a cloak & a key, sentenced to 10 yrs at Walsingham on the 29 Feb 1848. Once previously convicted of felony. Prison Registers and Statistical Returns - page 189 1843-1850 HO 24/12
Maria Blyth, aged 58, and Harriet Blyth, aged 21, charged with having, on the day of September, stolen one sheet, one pinafore, one petticoat, one top a white white spencer, two silk tops of frocks, one tippet, and other articles, the properly of Maria Sutton, of North Creake.  Maria Blyth, acquitted; Harriet Blyth, guilty, one calendar month's imprisonment Norfolk News, 7 Nov 1846. Walsingham Sessions. To be transported for ten years :—Harriet Blyth, 23, (who had been previously convicted of felony) for stealing, at North Creake, on the ? of August, a stuff cloak and iron key, the property of Jane Harrison; Norfolk Chronicle, 6 Nov 1847. -------------------------------------------------------------- Tasmanian Records.
