Convict Notes
On Monday last, Louisa Bombay, (by B. Brame, Esq.) charged with stealing twentyone sovereigns, the property of Robert Girling, of St. Margaret’s.—To the County Gaol and House of Correction, in this town. Suffolk Chronicle, 23 May 1835. On Tuesday sen’night Elizabeth Gooch, convicted at our last Assizes of administering a poisoned cake to Jane Wells, at Farnham, was removed from Ipswich County Gaol, to, be put on board the Henry Wellesley, bound for New South Wales, in order to be transported for life ; and also Harriet Vox, for 7 years. Louisa Bombay was on the same day removed from Ipswich Borough Gaol to the above vessel, to be transported for 14 years. Bury and Norwich Post, 16 Sept 1835.
