Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Rodney 2', arriving 20/12/1851. Single man; painter & glazier; aged 24yrs; 5'6 1/4"; reddish brown hair; grey eyes; Church of England. Native Place - Marylebone. Mother - Mary. Assignments in Colony. 1851: Mr. T. Harbottle, Elizabeth St. Hobart. Ticket of Leave 15/3/1853 Free Certificate 15/12/1854 Permission to marry Sarah Howard (per Emma Eugenia) granted. Married ref. 280/1853-37. Children: Mary Howard Booth b. 1854 Elizabeth Booth b. 1856 9/6/1868 Hobart Court: Idle & disorderly. 1mth's hard labour.
